As evidenced by tepid reviews for Scarface, Red Steel, and Medal of Honor: Vanguard, action games haven't fared too well critically on the Nintendo Wii. This week, though, a survival shooter which has already earned accolades aplenty on the GameCubeand PlayStation 2 ships out. Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, a reworked version of GameSpot's 2005 Game of the Year, arrives today for bearing a $29.99 price tage and an M for Mature rating. Portables fared better, with Ubisoft's celebrated Brothers in Arms series and Electronic Arts' storied SimCity franchise making their first appearance on the Nintendo DS. Also arriving are the first Transformers movie tie-ins on the PSP and DS, one week ahead of their console counterparts.
